2021 Lexus IS Price: more affordable than the previous generation

Introduced in 2014, the Lexus IS is getting a redesign for 2021 that includes a major overhaul that has the effect of refreshing it and adding equipment and panache. In addition, it benefits from price adjustments that are beneficial to consumers.

First, we find the same models on the menu, the IS 300 rear-wheel drive, as well as the IS 300 and IS 350 all-wheel drive. The first receives a turbo 4-cylinder that delivers 241 horsepower while the other two inherit a 3.5-litre V6 that provides 260 horsepower with the 300 model and 311 with the 350 version.

There are many changes with the 2021 Lexus IS. A new treatment of the rear lights including a light strip making the width of the vehicle is remarkable, as is the presence of redesigned wheels. Inside, the ergonomics have been revised somewhat to make the experience more user-friendly, especially by bringing the screen closer to the multimedia system. When it comes to safety, the IS takes advantage of the most recent version of the company's system, the TSS + 2.5. The latter includes a system that detects oncoming pedestrians, cyclists and cars when making a left turn at an intersection.

Finally, we note the downward price adjustments that benefit virtually all versions of the model.

The entry-level IS 300 RWD comes in at $42,950 which is $2,100 less than last year’s IS. The all-wheel drive Lexus IS 300 AWD is priced at $43,400 which is $350 less than last year’s model. There are also significant price differences between the prices of the Premium and F Sport Series 1 models compared to last year which each costing $1,900 and $1,800 less respectively in the IS 300 trim.

As for the top of the line Lexus IS 350, it comes in at $53,300 for the F Sport Series 2 model which is $1,550 less than the current model.
