The 2025 Lexus NX brings a comprehensive suite of advanced technology features that transform...
A true pioneer in the luxury midsize SUV segment, the 2021 Lexus RX returns this year with a new Black Line version and improved capabilities. What hasn't changed with the 2021 Lexus RX, however, is the luxury it offers its passengers and the safety it offers as standard. Add to that an exceptional level of comfort and top-level performance, and you have an SUV that stands out from the competition like the 2021 Infiniti QX60.
The Infiniti QX60 is starting to show its age. It hasn’t really been redesigned since 2018 and the current generation dates back to 2013. In the 8 years that the Infiniti QX60 is on the market, the Lexus RX has been redesigned twice. In other words, the Lexus is more modern, more spacious, and equipped with more advanced technologies.
A sumptuous and spacious interior in the 2021 Lexus RX
First of all, you notice the difference when you get on board. The 2021 Lexus RX comes standard with a massive 12.3-inch center display available that is controlled via a touchpad or steering wheel controls. The interior of the 2021 Infiniti QX60 offers a smaller screen and much less technology. It is obvious that the model is several years old.
Interior space is also much larger in the Lexus RX, especially in terms of cargo space. We benefit from about 700 liters of space in the 2021 Lexus RX instead of 453 liters.
Under the hood, the 2021 Lexus RX features a 3.5-liter V6 engine developing 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The specifications of the Infiniti QX60 are roughly similar, with a 3.5-liter V6 also developing 290 horsepower as well. That said, the QX60's gearbox is a much less efficient CVT. Thus, the 2021 Lexus RX reaches 100 km/h a second faster than the QX60.
The 2021 Lexus RX also offers a 308 horsepower hybrid engine with an average fuel consumption of just 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers. No hybrid options exist in the QX60.
