The 2025 Lexus NX brings a comprehensive suite of advanced technology features that transform...
The Lexus performance division established in 2007 has produced some of the automotive industry's most memorable vehicles over the past 14 years and continues to this day as a sporting leader in the luxury niche. Lexus F flagship, the spectacular Lexus LFA, retired in 2012 after a limited run of 500 units produced, but the soul of the LFA is found in the heart of every Lexus F model including the Lexus RC F 2021.
The Lexus RC F 2021
The Lexus RC F is currently the representative of more than a decade of performance vehicle knowledge accumulated within the Lexus F Team. Powered by a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine, the RC F delivers a pure driving experience without supercharging that conveys all the finer points of sporty driving to the driver. The engine in question develops 472 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque which are delivered to the road with precision thanks to a host of technologies originating from motor racing.
Examples include the sport-calibrated steering, the different driving modes and the integrated driving dynamics management system. All of these systems together result in absolute control in all situations without taking away from the driving experience. The objective of these technologies is to enhance, not to reduce the sensations behind the wheel.
Visually, the 2021 Lexus RC F shows its ambitions with its aggressive aerodynamic package, quadruple stacked exhausts and hood air intake, in addition to its trapezoidal grille which is accentuated on the model. Brembo brakes visible through the 19-inch rims provide braking that is one par with how the RC F accelerates.
The 2021 Lexus RC F Track
Engineers from Team F have pushed the Lexus RC F's capabilities to the limit with the new Track Edition introduced this year. Equipped with carbon fiber components including the roof and hood, ultra-light BBS rims, a titanium exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes, the Track Edition is ready for the track as the name suggests. It is 80 kg lighter than the traditional RC F which translates into better performance, but also improved handling.
The Lexus RC F is a real beast of the track capable of serving every day in all situations. It represents what Lexus F does best and picks up where legends like the Lexus IS F and Lexus LFA left off.
