Lexus presents the new 2021 LS 500 and LS 500h

The flagship of the Lexus brand, the sumptuous 2021 Lexus LS 500, returns this year with enhanced comfort and refinement, improved engines and new technologies.

Those who know the Lexus LS know it is one of the most luxurious cars in the world and one of the most comfortable and quiet too. Less well known than some of its rivals, the Lexus LS still has a lot of loyal buyers who appreciate its elegance, confidence and exceptional luxury.

For 2021, the 2021 Lexus LS is entitled to several new features, including even more impressive comfort. To enhance its flagship car, Lexus made several individual upgrades to various components of the car, including improvements to the steering and brakes as well as to interior surfaces.

The suspension and chassis have also been revised to make the ride even smoother and more souple. The spring rate and damping have also been improved while the front and rear anti-roll bars have been optimized in diameter, again with the aim of increasing on-board confidence and comfort. Lexus also improved the height-adjustable air suspension and adaptive variable suspension.

The 2021 Lexus LS 500 will continue to be equipped with the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that develops 416 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is standard. 0-100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds. The Lexus LS500h also returns with its V6 engine paired with an electric drive for a total output of 354 horsepower.

The interior also received several improvements, including additional foam in key areas. For 2021, Lexus is adding the option of Palomino leather for added sophistication.
