Lexus will mark its presence at the inaugural Japan Mobility Show 2023 by debuting its next-generation battery electric vehicle (BEV) concept models. The event will take place from October 26 to November 5 at Tokyo Big Site in Koto-ku, Tokyo. As part of its long-term vision, Lexus aims to fully transition into a BEV brand by 2035. The showcased concept models are a significant step toward achieving this goal.
A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
In line with its commitment to sustainability and a carbon-neutral future, Lexus's booth at the event will feature traditional Japanese aesthetics and the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable bamboo material. The exhibit, themed "Pushing the Boundaries of the Electrified Experience," aligns with Lexus's brand philosophy to innovate while preserving cultural heritage.
Visitors at the event will have a unique opportunity to engage with the Lexus Electrified VR Experience. This VR driving simulator offers a personalized driving experience that utilizes electrification and AI technologies to cater to individual customer needs.
A press conference is scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, at the Lexus booth.
