The 2023 Lexus IS is offered in 8 trim levels with four powertrain choices in order to make for the perfect premium compact sedan for everyone.
The Premium, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury
Buyers who want a more luxurious approach to their premium sedan will be interested in the Premium, Luxury or Ultra Luxury trim levels that are offered on the IS 300 AWD. All of these models are powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels. The Premium trim level is the most affordable, but it includes luxury items such as heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. The Luxury trim is an upgrade that adds features such as a 10.3-inch infotainment display, a navigation system, the automated parking assist, and a power-adjustable steering column. Outside, this model is also distinguished by its 19-inch alloy wheels. The Ultra luxury package comes with all of the other features that make the IS one of the most luxurious cars in its class, such as triple beam LEDs, the 360-degree camera system and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
The F Sport 1, 2, and 3
Drivers who prefer a sportier look and feel for their vehicle will be glad to know the 2023 Lexus IS has three trim levels that are aimed at them. The entry-level F Sport 1 trim is available on the RWD and AWD versions of the IS 300, which means that the F Sport 1 equipped IS 300 RWD is the least expensive IS in the lineup. This model is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its standard equipment is similar to the one found in the premium version, with the exception of its 19-inch F Sport wheels and a number of distinctive styling touches. The F Sport 2 package available on both the IS 300 AWD and the IS 350 is a step up since it features the same equipment as the Luxury model, in addition to the unique F Sport elements. The F Sport 3, available only on the IS 350, adds sportiness to the Ultra Luxury trim by featuring 19-inch BBS wheels, an adaptive suspension system, a Sport + drive mode and a more powerful version of the 3.5L V6 engine.
The IS 500
At the top of the 2023 Lexus IS lineup is the IS 500. This version is the ultimate sports sedan from Lexus due to the 472-horsepower delivered to the rear wheels by its 5.0L V8 engine. The IS 500 also comes standard with a Torsen limited-slip rear differential and the Dynamic Handling package. In addition, this model is distinguished by its 19-inch Enkei wheels and it is equipped with all of the features found in the Ultra Luxury model.
