The 2024 Lexus LC Series: A Fresh Take on Luxury and Performance

As high performance converges with high fashion, the newly upgraded 2024 Lexus LC Series takes center stage in the realm of prestige luxury convertibles. Filled with exciting enhancements for the upcoming year, the LC Series offers Canadians a unique blend of electrified and conventional powertrains, cutting-edge features, and an array of captivating exterior and interior colour combinations.

The 2024 Lexus LC not only excels in performance but also stands out with its upgraded connectivity and safety. It now comes equipped with the North American designed Lexus Interface, boasting a 12.3” touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This system integrates a virtual assistant that enables voice-first navigation, media, communication, and a myriad of other vehicle features. Safety advancements are not to be overlooked, as the LC now includes Lexus Safety System + 2.5 and the Panoramic View Monitor safety system.

Lexus has also invested in style enhancements for the 2024 model. All LC vehicles now sport refreshed 21” forged aluminum wheels, contributing to the LC's commanding stance. The 2024 LC Convertible debuts a four-layer lightweight soft-top, specifically crafted to uphold the car’s aerodynamic and emotionally charged design, whether the top is up or down. This soft-top is designed to open or close within 15 seconds and up to speeds of 50 km/h. The unique folding system minimizes space consumption and does not compromise luggage capacity.

Two breathtaking powertrain options complete the 2024 Lexus LC lineup. The LC 500 and LC 500 Convertible boast a 5.0L V8 engine coupled with a 10-speed direct shift automatic transmission, offering 471 peak horsepower and up to 398 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, the LC 500h features a self-charging Lexus Hybrid Drive and multistage transmission, offering a combined fuel efficiency rating of 8.1L/100 km.

Lexus continues to impress with its commitment to safety. The 2024 models are equipped with a suite of advanced safety features, including the Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, LED brake lamps, and eight airbags. The convertible models are fitted with an additional active roll bar system.
