The 2025 Lexus NX brings a comprehensive suite of advanced technology features that transform...
The 2023 Lexus UX is unique in its segment for a number of reasons which include its powertrain, its technologies, and its safety equipment.
A standard hybrid powertrain
The 2023 Lexus UX is the only subcompact luxury SUV to come standard with a hybrid powertrain, which makes it more efficient and more eco-friendly than its competitors. The hybrid system in the UX is composed of a 2.0L gasoline engine and two electric motors, which make for a total power output of 181 horsepower and fuel consumption of only 6.0 liters per 100 kilometers in combined city and highway driving. The presence of an electric motor on the rear axle also gives the UX a standard all-wheel-drive system that makes it more competent in inclement weather.
More technologies
The 2023 Lexus UX adopts the brand’s latest infotainment system which was introduced in the recently redesigned NX model. The Lexus Interface benefits from a number of features that buyers want, such as the wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and it features the Intelligent Assistant, which can be summoned by simply saying “Hey Lexus”. The standard version of the UX receives an 8-inch touch screen to control this system and a 12,3 inch is available on more upscale versions. In addition to these features, the Lexus Interface is capable of receiving over-the-air updates, which means that the UX will be kept up to date for many years to come.
A safer vehicle
The 2023 Lexus UX is among the safest vehicles in its segment due to a number of technologies that help it prevent accidents and protect the occupants if a collision is inevitable. Indeed, the UX comes with the standard Lexus Safety System + 2.5, which includes elements such as a lane departure warning system that can detect the curb or the end of the pavement and steer the vehicle away from it. These technologies and a carefully engineered structure qualified the 2022 Lexus UX to receive the Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS.
